One week, three styles

UWW’s U23 World Championships are scheduled for 12–18 October 2026 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The official programme covers Greco-Roman, women’s wrestling and men’s freestyle. Checked on 13 October before the day’s sessions, this guide focuses on the announced timetable: some weight classes reach their finals while others begin their competition.

Tuesday’s programme

At 10:30 in Las Vegas, Greco-Roman repechage is scheduled for 60, 67, 72, 82 and 97 kg, alongside qualification rounds for 55, 63, 77, 87 and 130 kg. The second group’s semifinals are listed for 16:45. Finals and medal ceremonies for the first group begin at 18:00. These are programme-block start times, not the exact start time for each wrestler.

A different date in Europe

Las Vegas uses PDT while Paris and Madrid use CEST: the difference is nine hours on these dates. The 10:30 block corresponds to 19:30 on Tuesday 13 in Paris and Madrid. The 16:45 semifinals become 01:45 on Wednesday 14, and the 18:00 finals become 03:00. Recording the date as well as the time avoids looking for a final on the wrong night.

Following the rest of the week

The programme places the start of women’s wrestling on Wednesday 14 and men’s freestyle on Friday 16. Choose a style and weight class first, then check the bracket stage. An entry list is not a final ranking. Consult UWW’s event page and programme for changes, and confirm results there after the bouts have finished. This article does not award medals that have yet to be decided.
